Topic: favorite item(s) purchased from the JB store?

I am so fired up.  I guess it's sort of a manic day.  The three items I just now purchased are:  A New Day Yesterday DVD (wish it was in Blu Ray but I can see why it's not), a Blue and Evil t-shirt (awesome skull...perfect for a metal head like myself), and  Joe B. pick keychain.  Ordered 5 minutes ago and I'm already anxious for them to arrive.
I was able to watch the A New Day Yesterday show on YouTube but I firmly believe in paying for what I get.  I have no problem at all paying for a dvd that I can watch for free on the internet.  The artist, no matter who they are, always deserves to be paid.

I poke my head in the store about once a day to check if anything is on sale.  Today I decided I wasn't going to worry about it and instead look for what I really wanted...and wasn't too costly :-)  I'm happy with my purchase.  This will be my first Bonamassa shirt so that part is exciting for me.  Yup, 47 years old and I still get excited about buying a t-shirt.  Music keeps us young at heart.

I've bought quite a bit from the JB store, including the Epiphone Les Paul with Bigsby, but my first purchase, the Royal Albert Hall DVD has had the biggest impact. I've lost count of how many times I've watched that show.

Re: favorite item(s) purchased from the JB store?

I am right there with you when you talk about watching the Royal Albert Hall concert on DVD.  I initially saw it on YouTube.  Immediately I had to buy it on Blu Ray.  If I may, when my wife and I had our home built we added a dedicated home theater up stairs.  Essentially, we built a one-story home with just the theater added as a second floor.  It has a 110" screen, HD projector, and the best sound system I ever came across.  It's as if you are at a movie theater but without the sticky floor and $10 tub of popcorn.  There is nothing that compares to watching that DVD up there.  The audience sounds like they are all around you and Joe sounds as if he right in the middle of things...just as it should.  Having that theater built was costly.  Ha, the equipment cost more than the actual room addition but as often as I watch DVDs up there I have gotten my money back ten-fold.
I'm not much of a gamer but my boys love to take their friends up there and play video games all day/night.  Normally, they know there is a time limit on the amount of time they get to play video games but I sort of look the other way when they have friends over at the house.  But, friends or not, there is absolutely no video games during the week.  It's a weekends only thing, and only if their grades remain where they should be.  My boys are lucky in that they were each born with above average intelligence.  While I have never demanded a certain letter/number grade.  I refuse to accept any grade that is less than what they would have achieved if they gave it all the attention the class demanded.  My question is always "did you do your absolute best?".  If I receive an affirmative then that is all I ask of them.  Luckily, my boys are honest enough to tell me when they could have worked harder.

I'd have to go with Litho #1 as my favorite purchase.

The 2015 Epiphone JB Les Paul with Bigsby ... I love it and play it every day.
I agree with Rusty on the impact of the first Royal Albert Hall blu-ray that I ordered was long lasting!

I'm really loving my Epiphone too, especially since I resolved the tuning issues. The reason I picked the RAH DVD is because that was what pulled me in. I stumbled across "Stop" on youtube, then found Joe's website and bought the DVD, and things have never been the same since.

Rockpalast...Best live video ever from Joe's early days. Small club, incredibly jamming set. Breathtaking !! I'm not sure if I bought it in the store or not, but it just kills !!

Today I received an email that my order from the JB store was cancelled...by me. What?  I have no idea what happened but I know I didn't cancel anything. Oh well, so much for the goodies I ordered.
