Paulie Cerra plays two different saxophones in Joe's band. Pretty sure one of them is the type you are talking about.

Well, really , its just the sax used as bass.    The sax is more prominent in " All Your Love " from Gary Moore's 1995 Montreux appearance.

But I could not find the 95 version on YouTube.
