OK, next question...

What song co-written by Joe was track #10 on one of his albums and track #1 on a subsequent live DVD?

As an aside, it's a kick-@ss song that I really wish Joe would record again someday, or at least reinstitute in his live play list at some point.  So many awesome JB songs, so little time...

Takin the Hit - #10 on So, It's like That & #1 on Rockpalast?  I didn't know he co-wrote it, but the track numbers are right.

Correct!!  And as your reward, you get to ask the next one smile.

Re: Bona-Trivia

Let's keep the live DVD theme going...

This blues documentary featuring BB King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Odetta, Shemekia Copeland and others was filmed at the same venue as one of Joe's DVD releases.  Name the documentary, the venue and Joe's DVD.

Back and forth we go - you are correct, sir.  Next question is yours.

Re: Bona-Trivia

OK, then...

Name the singer/songwriter/guitarist who died in 2005 that Joe covered on his studio album released two years later.  For bonus points, also name the JB album and song.

Re: Bona-Trivia

Ok, this will probably easy for some, and real easy to find the answer, buts lets see someone answer from memory. Joe has been referred to as the hardest working man in the blues. What was the last year that Joe did not release an album, either studio or live, not counting collaborations or guest appearances. On the honor system, no cheating, from memory.... hmm

Of course you are correct Jane. Its been 10 years since the Hardest working man in the Blues skipped a year and didn't released a new album.

Re: Bona-Trivia

I think it would have been worse since that is one song Joe can't sing. Maybe now but not then and he even had Doug sing it in London.

OK, here's one for the git geeks.
Joe has stated he only likes one kind of wood on his fretboards, no matter what make of guitar he plays.
What is it and what is the wood he hates?
Bonus. When did he most recently say this and where? (first question wins the prize but the bonus is for street cred)

I'm going to guess rosewood, based on most of the guitars I've seen him play in the last decade-or-so.  Wood he hates, I don't know, never heard him say it but maybe maple.  On his latest Periscope interview he was playing an ebony board LP.

Close, but not what he said. I took it from one of his periscope casts recently.

Ok Zeyer, no other takers so you got close enough.
Joe said he only likes to play on rosewood and hates ebony during one of his geeky periscope sessions.

Re: Bona-Trivia

I love this album's liner notes, which include the following nuggets:

"Well, here we go again.  It seems that these days there are few constants in this world.  Everything from the world economy and political scandals to some astrologist poindexter changing our zodiac signs... and here I thought I was Taurus all along!"
...
"___ and I scoured our BlackBerrys and rang up a few friends."
...
"... a whirldwind of concerts, self-doubt and a tour schedule that seemed almost unachievable.  And here we are."

Which album is this?
