Topic: Vox AC15c1 combined channels ?

I recently acquired a Vox AC15c1 to pair with my HotRodIII. I am attempting to combine the two channels with a Y cable which isn't working as I expected it should. When combined, one channel is much weaker than the other. Plugging into each channel on its own shows no problem but one of the legs of the cable demonstrates a weaker signal than the other. Is this a bad cable or am I doing something wrong here?. I'm using a standard 1/4" mono male Y to 1/4" female stereo

Your amps are out of phase.  A common issue. The easiest way to solve this is to swap the speaker cable leads on one of the amps.

God, I'm just a fat bald guy, 60 years old, playing the blues, you know?

Sorry, I wasn't clear.............I'm trying to combine the two channels on the Vox, I'm using a Morley A_B_Y pedal to combine the Vox with the Fender

Re: Vox AC15c1 combined channels ?

you can't Y cable the 2 channels together like you can a Marshall plexi ; I think you'll get an impedance mismatch

instead of using the Morley A/B/Y to switch to the Fender amp you have, try the 2 "Y'd" outputs of the Morley into the Normal and Top Boost channels of the Vox and see if that helps.
but I hazard to guess that it won't work like the Marshall because the Marshall has vol1 and a vol2 that work sort of like independent front ends.
