Topic: Acoustic tablature

I guess there always has to be a first post, besides the intro one, so this is mine. Hello everyone.

I did a search of the past 20 pages and came up empty so if I may ask a question on tablature.

After scouring the internet the past week off and on I've come up empty. Does anyone have a good source for any tabs on Joe's Vienna album? I know he reworked the songs to fit in acoustically and changed the key, tuned it differently and or put a capo on some etc.. so using the electric tab and just playing acoustically doesn't really get me there sound wise.

If you have any leads, no matter how inaccurate they are smile, I'd be grateful.

I've looked at the video and I suppose I could come close here and there but I know I'd be off a bit. It's hard to really see where all the fingers rest and which ones are actually sitting on strings as opposed to hovering slightly above them many times.

Thanks for any help.

John

Re: Acoustic tablature

Hey Nickel, thanks for the response. I think it was your thread about tablature that I almost did a necro bump on to ask this but decided to just start a new one.

Your advice is spot on and well taken. You are right. That is the route I will probably have to go on this one if I want to learn the song bad enough. It is always nice to have some kind of guide as a clue in case one gets stuck even if the tab is off here and there. I knew it was a long shot but you never know.
