Re: Samantha Fish...just heard her last week.

I just saw Samantha play two nights at Chan's in Woonsocket RI.

The first night, the first set was mostly songs from the new album "Wild Heart", and the second was a lot from Runaway and Black Wind Howlin'.

The first day set list, transcribed from their set list on stage. (Chan's is small enough to lean over  and take a picture of it if you're up front. )

Road Runner
Blame it on the Moon
Wild Heart
Show Me
Gone for Good
Lost Myself
Turn it Up
Shake 'em Down
Jim Lee part 1
I'm in Love
Highway
Place to Fall
B1tch on the Run

[Edit: Really? You can't say "B1tch" on here?]

Set 2:
[Two solo acoustic songs I don't recall.
I know she does Dead Flowers, but don't recall if that was one of them.]
Miles to Go
Sucker Born
Foolin' Me
Lay it Down
Who's Been Talkin
Go to Hell
Money to Burn
Kick Around
Down in the Swamp
[ list has '?' here, and I forget what she picked ]
Go Home
Black Wind Howlin'
encore was listed as Sympathy for the Devil, but they didn't play it.

The second night I only had tickets for the second set, as she sold out the 8pm show. (Yay for her, boo for me. smile

The second set on the second night was even deeper cuts, and one of the highlights was that we got the Sympathy for the Devil encore, and it was great. I liked it better than the Stones' rendition, but I'm not a Jagger fan, so that's a low bar to reach. :-)

Her next album is available for pre-sale on her website, but she was selling them at the show.
