Topic: I had an idea for Joe !

So, I'm at the gym today on the runner and I've got the earplugs in and the Murfpod jammin' to my playlist and on comes "Clouds on the Horizon" from Joe and Walter from his "Full Circle" album and it got me thinking...Wouldn't it be great if Joe made an album of duets like Walter did? Joe is now very well known among his peers and I'm pretty sure he could draw some huge names to play with him on this type of album ....so many possibilities with him playing guitar with and other artists singing or he and someone else on guitar...just unlimited scenarios....Billy Gibbons,Ted Nugent, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, how about that chick from the Alabama Shakes or Jack White or.....see where I'm goin' with this ?

Coverdale - Bonamassa?  I've wanted to hear Cristina Scabbia sing Sloe Gin while Joe plays it.

Re: I had an idea for Joe !

I'm sure Joe will do this at some point in his career, and would take a bit of planning with artisits
It's a great idea and you could sure come up with some great artists young and old to contribute

here's an album of artists id like to see Joe collaborate with ( example guest on guitar )

Jeff Beck
Jimmy Page
David Gilmour
Eric Clapton
Billy Gibbons
Angus Young
Keith Urban
Tab Benoit
Kenny Wayne Shepherd

Re: I had an idea for Joe !

I love Susan Tedeschi, so I think a Bonamassa-Tedeschi-Trucks set would be killer, especially live.

While we're wishing anyway, let's make it an annual mini-tour, just a week or two, jamming with a diff guest each year. Next year it can be Samantha Fish. I want to hear Joe do "Go to Hell" with her. smile

Re: I had an idea for Joe !

I'd Love Joe to do a Free/Bad Company covers CD with Paul Rogers singing.

Re: I had an idea for Joe !

Joe was on one or two of Joe Lynn Turner's CDs (formerly of Rainbow and Deep Purple). The song "Angel" is really awesome! I'd love to see Joe and JLT do a CD together!
