Re: The London Gig Guide

Page 1 updated again. Lots of decent gigs coming up in the next few months to fill those long dark evenings in London and the south east. Please take a look and get out there and support the venues and bands, particularly the smaller venues and less well known artists.

As always, thanks all for posting new gigs here. Keep 'em coming. wink

Ticket prices virtually two thirds cheaper than a run of shows later in the month.....

Can they bring it forward a bit as I've just booked my hols for that date. lol

There do seem to be a lot of good gigs during the first two weeks of May (and a certain anniversary) which means I often miss out one some cool shows. Yes, I know, I'll have to take my hols in July/August when it's quiet on the gig front.

I called the RAH box office today and they advised that the top price tickets will be around £100 and circle around £85, which means they could be cheaper than you know who's tix at the less salubrious Apollo.

I listened to Jellycream a fair bit while on hols last week - a superb album. I hope there are some tix left as I'd really like to see him next Feb. Definitely a class act.

Thank you, I'm sure we will. There will be the usual London Gig Buddies (plus at least one from Scotland who's a regular London visitor, you know who you are wink ) attending what should be a great evening. We had a fab time at last year's Tedeschi Trucks show as part of the 2013 Bluesfest and this year is shaping up to be as good. I think most of us will also be wandering around the RAH during the afternoon as we've got the chance to see some less well known artists, including our friend Marcus Bonfanti, who always puts on a great show.

Look out for some video over the following days.
