Re: Keeping the Blues Alive Cruise Artists

Loving the line up, really not a bad one in the bunch that I can see.  It would be a challenge to see them all.

I have Joanne's The Dirty Truth, fantastic, and live will be awesome.  But I am really enjoying Ana Popovic, Can You Stand the Heat gives you a good taste of her music, and like Joe, I agree the live stuff is where it's at...

Joanne on the Les Paul, Ana on the Strat, SIMO on the 335, Joe on all of them!!!!

If Ana sticks to her routine, you will see her play, on a rocking ship, in high heels smile  I don't know how she does it !

Re: Keeping the Blues Alive Cruise Artists

This is one of my favorite Robben Ford songs done during last tour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc5kPpfW34c he has a new album coming out and tour. Maybe we will get some of the new material.

Hey BluesKid!  Welcome.  Didn't see your post here.  As I understand it, there will be a place to jam.  Assuming you mean jamming with other cruisers as opposed to the artists.  Bringing along an instrument is encouraged.

Jim, nice one from Robben.

Great player, cool guy. I really digged the Rig Rundown he did with John Bohlinger from Premier Guitar. Seems he is every bit the guitar 'nerd' that Joe is. For anyone interested the video is here:

Makes me smile that the majority of the gear he plays isn't actually his own!
