The Endless River

I'm curious to hear the music but since it is stuff recorded during Division Bell I hope it is not recycled 2nd rank songs.

Although I'm quite intrigued by its working title of The Big Spliff!

As a long time Floyd and Gilmour fan I'll add it to my collection but I can appreciate it might not have such an appeal to the casual listener.

For kicks I checked out the website and they have a cool deluxe package with cd blue ray booklet and postcards one is 3D I think.I don't know if the music is good but the package is cool and reasonably priced.
Maybe J and R could learn a thing or too about some extra goodies thrown in besides the usual MUDs and pick tins.Some cool artwork novelties might attract some sales.Stickers , mini posters and postcards are nice collectables.I think of the original Wish You Were  Here album

Well, it’s hard for me to say this as a big time Pink Floyd and Gilmour fan but this release does nothing for me and I think is one which will divide the faithful.  I can appreciate the sentiment behind it and there is some typically beautiful Gilmour guitar work going on, I'm hearing shades of Echoes and Us and Them - but  I’m not overwhelmed.  It’s such a big shame.  The only stand out track is Louder than Words which closes the album but that's only because it's a complete song, with words by David's missus.  Is it a fitting epitath?  Sadly not in my view.

Give a few more listens....Floyd Fans will buy this regardless if it is a smash or not...It's Floyd !!!

Probably true but if it is not a smash and trash will it go over big?
