Holy......Tamoly. a tune called "Wanted" by Perry Como... I'm sure mom and dad were groovin to Perry. I'll bet it was in their jukebox in the the bar they owned on the east side of Detroit in 1954. Joe...you up for a cover of "Wanted"? Perry was a classic crooner.
Good grief you young'uns!
BigD, right along with your folks, when I was reeeeeally small (haha).........my dad and I watched the Perry Como show every single Saturday night. Effortless songster, awfully good for a former barber. There's a statue of him not far away from me in Canonsburg, PA where Perry lived.
Right after that came Gunsmoke! Ah, the good old days.
"To Sir With Love" by Lulu. Never heard of it so I'll guess I'll have to check it so I know, but really, 1967 and I couldn't get something cool?
Yeah. I got The Way We Were - Barbra Streisand. I was hoping for something way cooler. On the UK side I got Tiger Feet - Mud. Never heard of it.

I didn't know it either, but at least she had a good voice in it. And she has a (weak) Hendrix connection: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lulu_(sing … ion_series
Mine was Cherish by The Association, so I think I "win" on less cool.
