Topic: Just A Thought...

Ok so I am posting this with the hope that Joe will read this and hopefully it'll happen. I think it would be beyond cool if for Rock Candy Funk Party's next studio record, if they did what Snarky Puppy does and recorded it live in the studio and released a CD/DVD set with footage of them playing each song in the studio. It's just a thought I wanted to put out there because I love RCFP and think it would be amazing if they did that.

That is an idea worth thinking about.Also begs the question if there will be a second album? I hope so!
I also wonder if it worked ok for them financially on the last one. The music caters to a different crowd than the blues crowd although there is a lot if crossover from Joes fans.Curious as how to market than 70's fusion style music in today's world?

Yes i've seen that deal. What I am really waiting for is the Takes New York vinyl! I have the We Want Groove vinyl and I listen to it all the time, and it sounds amazing on vinyl. I just hope Takes New York will make it to vinyl.

Pretty darn sure there is going to be a second album. The question is when considering everyone has a pretty busy schedule.

I'm aware its not his band and he can't make all the desicions but, he could at least present the idea to the rest of the band for consideration.

Yeah I just figured I would try here first, because I know Joe checks the forum fairly regularly, and Snarky Puppy is a Funk/Jazz/Jam band. You could find them on youtube, If you dig RCFP check them out, I'd recommend their newest album We Like It Here, particularly the tracks, Shofukan, What About Me?, Sleeper, Outlier, and Lingus.
