are you serious? First post on here and a bit of bad language and slagging things off! - This year at Glasto: Robert Plant....Metallica.....Jack White.......The Black Keys......Kasabian......Elbow.....Kaiser Chiefs....The Blues Band.....Dr Feelgood....

Over the years: Hawkwind, Traffic, Bowie, The Kinks, T-Rex, The Who, Van Morrison, The Black Crowes, Radiohead, REM, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen,
The lineup is anything BUT mainstream, - it does probably better than any other festival play every type of music. It gives a platform to many bands to step up their popularity. To just dismiss it as you have is not factually correct. It is a massive festival that sells out in minutes EVERY year without ANY of the acts being announced, - Micheal Eavis (organiser) has done more for live music than anybody else I can think of, - he is a man who will and has taken many risks over the years.
...and Joe has been shown on TV before, - quite a few times, - The London Calling festival a couple of years ago.
- And have a look at the demographics for Joe’s audience and those that go to Glastonbury, - whist as a festival it does still manage to attract all ages, it is largely a hippy young person festival, - have you been to see Joe live? Half the audience have prostate problems so need an interval to dash to the toilet! I really can’t see us lot coping with sharing portaloos in a field, can you?
Glastonbury is an interesting place, - thought by some to be the original Isle of Avalon, home to Merlin, - a lot of history and myth to the place:
