Topic: One Phone Call Riff?

I am almost done tabbing out One Phone Call by RCFP from the Takes New York DVD, and the chromatics in the riff seem to be getting the better of me, I cant tell if it is

thanks! thats the way ive been playing it, as for the second one im pretty sure RCFP plays version A), but i think john mclaughlin plays version C) in Right Off by Miles Davis, only in a different key.
