Topic: Stafford, Texas Show

My day finally came.   My first Joe Bonamassa show was last night.
I'm still reeling from it.  What an experience !!

Joe was the bomb.  The H-bomb.  But I was expecting that, and
was surely not disappointed.  But I was shell shocked by his
drummer.   No, not just a drummer.  He is a percussionist.  Dang.
I saw John Bonham and Ginger Baker.  Bogie Bowles is there
with them.  Just awesome.

The whole band is just so tight.  Everyone plays for team.
Just great.  Every song sounded so fresh.  Material and dimension
added from the recordings of same.  Beautiful, precise, soulful
musicianship.

THANKS TO ALL THE BAND AND THEIR SUPPORT CREW !!!!

Joe --  Thanks for honoring Texas by playing that ZZ Top cover !!!

I now have that song on video !!!  My video !!!

looking forward to next time,  Chris

Re: Stafford, Texas Show

Hey Chris, glad you enjoyed your first live show with Joe.  He never disappoints.  Bogie is the bomb for sure.

Music is good for the Soul...

Re: Stafford, Texas Show

Yes, it was just a great show.

Joe's opener, Crosby Loggins, gave an excellent performance
of a nice range of songs.   Doug Pinnick from King's X did vocal
on a awesome piece at the end of the show.   Joe has some
cool friends.    smile
