Topic: Epiphone Les Paul

I have a 2011 JB Epiphone Les Paul that I'm interested in selling.  Does anyone have an idea what I should ask for it?

Re: Epiphone Les Paul

Check how much you can buy it for new, and depending on the state of the guitar, calculate how much less you should sell it for. But if it's not new, never as expensive as a new guitar.

I'm broke, motherf**ker!

You can't buy the gold top any longer.  There were only 1,500 of the Epiphones made.  I did see one dreamer on eBay had one for over $3,000 but he had no bidders.  I wouldn't expect close to that.

You might want to post question under Marketplace and/or Joe's Guitars,Amps & Gear here on a Forum.      plj

Re: Epiphone Les Paul

I always hear a "rule of thumb" cost new minus 40% . . . But it that doesn't seem to work out well for the sellers perspective alot of the time.   Over here they where £499 new.  So that would mean a price of £300 used, but that seems pretty low if you follow that rule.  I'd want at a very minimum of £350.

When I sell a guitar/amp/pedal, I always ask for a price that's  a bit higher than the price I'm fine with, so you have room to haggle with.

First run was supposed to 1000 units total-period...then they had a second run and then a third run.....
It's an Epiphone made in China...not a Gibson.....the $3,000 one on flea bay was a complete joke...signed or not.
Good luck in your sale

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

GuitarCenter has a couple used listed for $599.  That's the neighborhood a recent few on ebay seem to have sold for ... around $600 to $750.  If you still have all the paperwork and signed COA ... that will help to get on the higher end of that range.  Good Luck.
