IMAGINE MY SURPRISE TO SEE NO TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND AGAIN ALSO NO SHOWS IN AUSTRALIA...WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE RETIREMENT TOUR

Just an educated guess but this tour for sure the Spring is the Acoustic opening band followed by the electric. The cost of doing a tour down under would be prohibitive since all those dates would have to be fly in shows. Not sure if the fall of 2014 is the same tour but my guess is yes. Hope for 2015 now if you ever thought of coming state side Texas/Oklahoma dates would allow for several shows in a few days and there is no other state in the US where you can grasp the size of this nation than Texas. wink

Re: The JB Forum Tour Schedule

Is there any info coming on tour dates after the Spring tour ? Specifically Minneapolis and Chicago . You know Joe is getting big when there was no Spring shows in Minneapolis or Chicago . Last springs tour 2013 both cities were SOLD OUT yet not on 2014 spring tour . Im not complaining , just sayin , Joe is in DEMAND . Must feel good to be Joe Bonamassa these days.

Re: The JB Forum Tour Schedule

My wife, Jackie, who passed away in April 2013, & I discovered Joe on our first "weekend together" date. We ordered a pizza, sat on the sofa & scanned the cable guide for suitable entertainment. We happened upon an AXS Network broadcast of "Live From the Royal Albert Hall" & were hooked! We vowed that if Joe ever played anywhere near us, we would be there! Unfortunately, Jackie passed away from complications after lung surgery a year to the month before Joe's scheduled date in Abilene, Texas, April 4th, a couple hours down the Interstate from me. But, I know Jackie will be there with me in spirit, dancing & singing along to every song. Thinking about taking a small vial with some ofher ashes with me....hope I am not arrested! I bought my tickets yesterday & I am bringing 2 friends who I recently turned on to Joe's music. We should have a LARGE time!        Ron Cypert,   Midland, Texas.

In Joe's latest email newsletter is an interview. Joe mentioned they'd booked the ampitheater at Red Rocks "for next year". Woo Hoo! Rocky Mountain High in my future.

When I saw that in the newsletter that made me looking forward to seeing what the date is and to see if we could make it.  That would be way to cool...

Red Rocks is such an incredibly cool place. Saw the Dead there back in '87. We'll definitely have to get to this one. Wondering when it will happen.

Re: The JB Forum Tour Schedule

Never been to Red Rocks and the detective in me has tried to figure out a logical time frame. Since Joe's interview was in 2013 that would mean 2014. It would then have to be during the season Red Rocks runs and if it were to be something that might end the Spring Tour which ends Memorial weekend in Toronto the 24th to be exact and Memorial day is the 26th.  So that would be possible only if Joe wants to film this current tour. I have heard that this summer will be festival dates in Europe and not sure what the fall will be. So it could be next summer. Just know that my educated guesses have proved wrong ninety-nine percent of the time.

I do know this it certainly would be a great place to film a DVD in the US and Joe will be due for one. Red Rocks usually has multiple acts so Joe and Beth would be a cool opener for Joe opening for Joe with whatever lineup Joe tours with next. I'm lobbying for the Shepherds Bush horn and blues band myself. That would be worth the drive to Denver for. Again I also have lobbied for Tedeschi Trucks band Joe B shed tour of the US. Could have Johnny Lang or KWS open. To me that would be the ultimate festival lineup for the US and would make a pretty cool Red Rocks show.

+1 Natasha!

Anyone have ANY intel about a possible Vegas show this year?  Based on the budget, might have to choose between that and Red Rocks...

and no doubt tickets will soon be on sale for UK dates in October when I'm on holiday. sad

I know how you feel - when Joe is in Europe in June, we'll be in the US, and when he comes to Germany in September, we'll be in the UK. Sod's law...
