Maybe if Joe became a movie star he would be able to be on Jimmy Fallon?

My question is why Joe doesn't take the solo band on Conan?

Well, he can certainly sing better than Russell.....I wrote to Jimmy once about Joe but I dont know, I'll prolly try again. I think he'd fit right in on that show . Jimmy adores good music.

Re: Joe on Fallon?

I do not understand why we as mega fans of Joe care if Joe is on Fallon or any other show.  Joe is doing fine doing what he does.  We all love singing the praises of Joe to our friends and family, I for one hope Joe never becomes "main stream".  The fact Joe and his team are promoting there own albums and shows, is phenomenal.  The last thing we as fans want is Joe to become another Clapton.  As everyone knows Eric is one of the greatest guitarist of all time, but he buckled  under to the record companies for the money and to be "main stream".  So we get "Clapton is god", playing freaking, Who Shot the Sheriff?
For me, Joe keep doing what you are doing, we as your fans will keep promoting you from a grass roots effort.  You do not need Fallon or anyone else besides your fans.  We will promote you and you get to do what you want without some lame record company executive, that knows how to make money, but, knows nothing, or cares nothing about talent, call the shots.
F%^) Fallon and the rest of them.

Hey, I just thought it was a cool idea. No biggie. Please don't jump on me for  making a harmless comment.

And I thought it would start a conversation.

Re: Joe on Fallon?

Could be a Communication Breakdown or Lost in Translation...not sure. I don't think an appearance on Fallon would send Joe down the Clapton road of shooting the sheriff in a main stream kinda' way...just saying...IMHO

BUT, yes, I'm with you ruby, I would like to see Joe on Fallon as well! smile I could have been more excited than Joe when I first heard him perform Black Night on the radio and the first time I saw him on TV. (George Lopez) lol Its like the shout it from the rooftop feeling, you want everyone to know how GREAT Joe is!!

It's all good.  I understand your position.  We all want Joe to be successful and we love singing his praises and would love for more people to hear his music.  This is just a personal thing for me.  It has always bothered me to  the career path that Clapton took.  Obviously its none of my business and I can't blame someone that wants to make themselves and their family financially secure.  It just has been such a waste of talent.  Who would blame Joe if he took the same path?  He is on the road, world wide, away from is family for months at a time.  That can't be easy.  If someone came along and offered him a boat load of money and all he had to do was come up with more commercial song and limit them to 3 minutes, who could blame him.  As a fan that is absolutely addicted to his music, I would be devastated.   So I continue to buy everything he puts out.  Two years ago I purchased 20 RAH I CD's and sent them to family and friends for Christmas. Go Joe, we love and support you and your music.

I think Joe has a little more integrity than that. At least I think he does...lol

I wasn't happy with a lot of Clapton's choices either.

And thanks Angela!
