Topic: No Michigan dates... again.
With the latest announcement of North American dates, once again Detroit is out of the mix.
Joe, could you please return to Michigan?
We know you sell out when you come here.
Thank you.

I know, I was really hoping for NYC but no luck on this tour. I guess he can't go to all the same places over and over...sigh
And to think that when Joe (or any other major act) comes to South American countries, people travel thousands of miles too see him play... and you won't go see him unless it's in your home city. Come on! if you really want to see Joe, go to the nearest city to you he'll be playing!
I'm traveling to Des Moines, since there are no Chicago area or Wisconsin shows.
"Is this heaven?"
"No, it's Iowa"!
Sadly, my hubby just lost his job so traveling anywhere is out of the question. It's not an option for people with financial problems otherwise I would gladly do it.
However, I know he'll get here eventually so I can wait.
In the meantime, we have most of his DVD's so at least we can watch those. It's really ok. Thanks
We will make a road trip out of it. Probably go to the Orlando show, then head down to Ft. Meyers for that show. It was great having him here in Clearwater for 2 shows last year, but road trips are fun also.
No Seattle, Portland, or Eugene this year either, but eventually...They book all their own shows, so it kind of depends on what venues are available when they're planning the tour...This time around I'm stuck traveling to Yakima and Boise from Salem.....Bona road trip

I don't know where you live , but where I live you can get a bus to anywhere and it's not that expensive, or a train, or any other public transportation, which I'm pretty sure it's much more cheaper than the cost of the show's ticket itself!

I take it you live in Argentina, matirocker, and I know that there you have a really great and cheap bus system. Unfortunately the US is much more reliant on cars. Even here in Europe - where public transport is pretty good - I find I spend a lot more on travel and hotels than on the actual show tickets. When times are hard it's not that easy, so let's give rubyjt a break!
Thanks so much Gmac, I really appreciate that!
We'll get to see him eventually.....and the Red Rocks show is going to be filmed too....so lots to look forward to.
The prices for Joe's tickets are not his doing so I don't begrudge him that.
It's not really an issue of travelling to see him... as we have traveled all over the mid-west to catch his shows.
But Joe has booked many of the same venues in the mid-west that he always does. I was just hoping to catch him a little closer to home.

Yeah, sorry, I'm not trying to give her a bad time or anything, but it's just that living where I live I'm very used to see people do a lot of stuff to see a band, and in comparison, going to one state to another in the US seemed like not that much of an issue. But I don't really know how everything works up there. Cheers!
Toledo is just down the road from Detroit. Go for it.

See ya in Toledo, When Joe played the FOX in Detroit last May the show wasn't sold out. We were in the last occupied row in the balcony and there were 5 empty rows behind us. Maybe he gives it a year before returning to cities he doesn't sell out.
I think Joe sometimes skips over towns he's been to the previous year.....there are only so many times he can play in one town. He has to give the other cities a chance to see him too.
I was so hoping he'd be in NY this year but it's not going to happen. Hopefully 2015. He just can't be eveywhere you know. LOL
He does seem to have a pattern plan. He was in MI last Spring, and will no doubt be back in MI next year. Could be Spring or Fall. Even Chicago doesn't get a show every year. So little Joe ... so many towns.
