Topic: Jubilee Settings

Hi All .....

I have been searching the forum looking for anyone who has written on how JB sets his Jubilee's settings.

Not much luck, although I did see one post stating bass is at 10.

Does anyone happen to know how he sets his settings and if he has any of the output controls pulled-out? (pull out on the input gain or the output master)

Paul

Re: Jubilee Settings

presence 5 , bass 10 , mid 7.5  highs 4.5 master 10 , volume 5 and gain 5

Joe posted it in another thread, read up on it here: https://forum.jbonamassa.com/viewtopic.php?id=7244

Re: Jubilee Settings

So it seems none of the push/pull are in the pulled out position .... as they are not mentioned in his post ....

Re: Jubilee Settings

Nope, no pots in the out position

the lead channel is on , output master dimed then use lead master to set your volume , use settings as above , and vary input gain to taste usually 4-6 depending on pickup type strats like more gain.

I have found , speakers are important to how this amp sounds and with some speakers like celestion g-75ts the amp can sound a bit on the fizzy side EVM12s really suit this amp no fizz just smoothness .

Finally adjust the settings to suit how your ears like it depending on what volume you are playing at , as Joes settings are played pretty loud .

Most of all enjoy it these amp sound like no other and can yield some killer tones !!!

I shall enjoy!  I am having that problem with the fading in /out of the volume.  I searched the forum and it is a problem others have had.  They said cleaning all the 1/4" jacks and tube connections and that fixes it.  I had effects running into the effects loop.  As soon as I removed the effects loop it started.
