He does respond on Facebook himself sometimes. He also responds and contributes here as well. He can't respond to everything posted on Facebook. If you are talking about a private message I would say it depends on what is asked.

Facebook is a great place for Joe Inc. to disseminate info to the fans. As far as Joe actually responding, I would rather have him spending time writing the next great song or relaxing so he will have enough energy to include my town in next falls tour dates.
The only thing we deserve, is an opportunity. Everything else has to be earned.
