Topic: The Joe Bonamassa Library

I am a new Joe Bonamassa fan...a "Bonavirgin", so to speak.

How it took me so long to finally hear this guy, god only knows....man, how I wish I would have discovered him some years back.

Anyway...for the last month I have been listening to his greatest hits , 2 cd set....and when I say for the last month...I mean exclusively....this guys talent is just phenomenal.....ok...so I have a man crush....well, not really....but you know....love the music a lot.

I have just ordered two more cd's and can not wait for them to arrive.....I got  So, It's Like That & You And Me

I will have them all some day.

Who here has the whole library ?

Here you go, Joe.  Scroll down a little.

I have finally obtained all Joe's solo items except BlackRock.  Start saving up!  Once in a while the JB Store runs discounts on cds.  Be on the lookout.  ENJOY.

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

I think a lot of members here, and certainly almost all of the regular posters, have all of Joe's CDs. A pretty large number probably have all the CDs from the different side projects, too. The only CDs I don't have are some where Joe is a guest artist - although I do have quite a few.

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

I think Jane might have the market cornered on the rare ones. lol I've got the catalog, all signed by the man, and a big collection of rare live stuff I've personally recorded or acquired from BonaBuddies via swaps and stuff.
You might as well send a list to the friends and relatives for gift suggestions Whirlwind. There's not a bad one in the bunch. Each is unique and a representation of that particular point in Joe's musical progression over the years. One might say facets of a precious gem.
You are in for a lot of enjoyment to come.

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

Yeah, Lee is undoubtedly correct. It is an addiction. We have two sets of his official releases one signed and one not signed, plus over 100 live recordings not too mention over 40 dvds. Can't ever get enough, lol!

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

You guys all pretty much have, where I am looking to go :-)

I am way ahead of you Rick B.....I have already told family members.....Bonamassa cd's for the win...also told them it would make me love them a little more :-)

I want to get a nice bluray player and a nice receiver so I can watch the dvd's and get the best possible sound that I can....want to be able to plug my headphones into the reciver to listen.

I watched The Borderline concert on youtube..with Anton Fig and Michael Rhodes....Man, that is good stuff!

I want all of the Tour de Force dvd's.

It is official....I am addicted!

The best thing I think is a large flat screen TV with Bose speakers for the TV.......the visuals are great and so is the sound. You can really hear the bass so clearly with the Bose soundbar. And of course, turn up the sound!

can't wait to get more DVD's.

I see you've been to my house when I wasn't there! I play all of Joe's DVDs on a 60" sharp led screen. The audio is run through a Marantz SR7007 receiver via a Sony Blu-ray player which up converts standard DVDs and then into Bose 701 towers for the front, Bose 501 towers for the rear, a Bose center and JBL 12" sub. The look and sound of Joe and friends through them is phenomenal!

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

Yeah, all the cd's and all the dvd's, collaborations and a bunch of early bootleg shows.

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

I have never been on a list where so many fans already owned it "all" of the official releases (and Joe is a hard working guitarist!)

NOW, I have discovered the huge harvest of fan recordings of Joe on You Tube. I hardly know where to start, but the Baked Potato jams where he plays covers of Them Changes, Crossroads and Thrill is Gone are fantastic!

Re: The Joe Bonamassa Library

I received me cd's in the mail yesterday .

I instantly ripped them into flac files and began listening.

I think I listened to The "You & Me" album like 4 times.....have not made it to "So, It's Like That".

That will be on todays agenda.
