Phil and I were trying to guess which song they might end up playing. Thought maybe "Dope On A Rope" because of it's cool funky beat, great back and forth between Joe and Ron, it isn't very long and they've been playing a version of it during the intermission at Joe's shows this fall. Second guess would be "We Want Groove" because it's the title track from their album and it features great solos by everyone.

My guess is at best a partial. Most don't get more than a couple of minute slot. A piece of Spazztastic?
this is awesome can't wait to see it
Very Cool indeed keep the RCFP going!
Would like to see them play Octopus e
Considering the severe time constraints, I doubt they will play something featuring a bunch of solos.
reminder bump

Thanks so much for posting the link. We don't have cable so I couldn't watch it last night. What a great job they did! They are just so good. Wonderful exposure for them!
can't believe I managed to stay up, thoroughly enjoyed it, short and Sweeeeet. Marty was real funny, a regular "sitdown" comedian.
Awesome great show
I am very happy for the band that they got to be on the show and got the publicity, but I was disappointed that, they played an abbreviated version of Octopus-E, that isn't their fault, that was the time constraints of the show, I just had my hopes up that they would play 1 or 2 songs in their full length.

Tal told me that the time limit on the show for all musical features is 4 minutes 10 seconds. Their song came in at 4 minutes 3 seconds. Octopus E is one song that lends itself to being cut down and still keep the integrity together.
