Re: Joe plays on a Tommy Castro song

One of my favorite Savoy Brown songs that I always thought could be resurrected. Tommy does a great job as always with the vocals and of course Joe as always kills the solos.

Love Joe on this.   smile

Re: Joe plays on a Tommy Castro song

Will be seeing Tommy in mid February.  It will be cool when (yeah ... right) Joe shows up to guest on this song!

We've talked to Tommy about Joe before, so it's really cool to see they got together on a song.  Maybe I planted a seed for this?  (Haha ... right)

I wonder what guitar Joe used?  Doesn't sound like a LP to me, but not overtly Strat like either.  Joe?

Re: Joe plays on a Tommy Castro song

Joe got to know Tommy on the one and only Blues Cruise Joe did in 2005 or 2006. They hit it off and have always had a mutual respect.

Thanks for that insight Jim!

Re: Joe plays on a Tommy Castro song

XM radio is plugging Tommy's album.
Tommy personally spoke about this song on XM
and had wonderful things to say about Joe and his effort
on this track. I like the song.
Saw a Tommy and his band at the Knickabocker
in Westerly last yr...killer show!
