Topic: "10 Questions" interview in newsletter

http://www.lamag.com/laculture/culturef … r-heard-of

Thought the interview was pretty interesting.

Not liking to get his picture taken - Not very surprising, always figured this was the case. That's why I felt bad asking for one last weekend. Couldn't resist, though, since we were both dressed nicely. Gad it came out really well. Now I won't ever have to bug him for another photo. No doubt he'll be happy about that, lol.

Red Rocks - Obviously will be super cool to see Joe at this amazing venue. Just kind of concerned about what this might mean as far as size of future venues. Kind of worried arenas will be the future. It's great to think Joe could sell out an arena, but really love the size and sound in the theatres.

Not having his own sound - I know people say this about Joe. In fact, just had to deal with someone ranting about this on one of my videos. But to me it's crazy talk. The fluidity of his fingering, the clarity of his notes and his amazing tone are immediately recognizable to me.

Do like the idea of him writing more. Seems like that has been a priority for the new album. Can't wait to hear what it'll sound like.

I am definitely going to have to get tickets to Red Rocks! I am with you Natasha and hope he stays in theaters, they are so much more personal and the sound in a theater can't compare to an arena! Although, I have no doubt Joe could sell out arenas anywhere he goes! Also love the idea of him writing more! Some of my favorite songs of his are his own writing!!

I expect the humble, but I know he is short changing himself when he says he doesn't yet have a definitive sound. He clearly does.

Also, Joe does have a signature song. Any show where Mountain Time is not played would leave fans disappointed.

Remember having read somewhere that he said, songwriting isn`t quite easy for him, sometimes a special kind of stress.

I love his own creations, he`s very talented (above others: Language & music teacher). Tipp: Learning by doing with fun.

Joe seems to be a shy guy not really interested in publicity but in doing his own guitar based thing.

I think that writing songs has to be hard for most.I will also say I haved loved so many of Joes original songs.I think he a very good songwriter. As I  would like an albums worth at a time,it is better to focus on quality versus quantity.I don't think he realizes how many of his fans put many of those songs in their all time favorite list.

Your last sentence: Absolutely right - no one could have said it any better! smile

I'm really counting the days till I hear and see him again on 2014/02/27 in Berlin, Tempodrome. It's the fifth time within a year. Meanwhile, my sister and my brother in law are infected too and will come and enjoy with us.
