Topic: Bluegrass extravaganza!

Stumbled upon this video of Joe in Groningen this 6th of October, where I sat front row and center.

I had seen Joe before, and the solo section of woke up dreaming existed of mostly classical inspired stuff. This time 'round, it was blazing country and bluegrass, and I loved it!

I had always loved bits where Joe went country/bluegrass in whatever I could find of him, so this was absolutely AMAZING to witness!

A man of many licks. I'd venture that is the product of his early tutelage under the great Danny Gatton. I read that Danny taught him to master all styles in order to become a complete artist. Sure glad he did. He owns some wicked country licks in electric play as well. Thanks for the share..
