Topic: So, when is Joe going to get Eddie up on stage with him?

I showed my son the video of Joe playing Crossroads with Zakk.  My son's first question "When is Joe going to do that with Van Halen??"  (Yes, my son is a big EVH fan).

Hmm. It's a cool idea I think. Of all the shred movement guitarists your son could have picked out, EVH is, for me, the one with the most bluesy phrasing and the most soul. I'd love to see JB trading 8's with him. That reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend last week, which led to my discovering that Joe had collaborated with Carl Verheyen. How that passed me by I have no idea, but it's a match made in guitar heaven!

Eddie is not exactly known as Mr. Friendly & Generous.  I don't see the synergy either.  Not going to happen.  Axle Rose either.

I don't know Devan..
maybe its because he just did it as a spur of the moment.. to me the start of this YouTube audio clip sounded really rough until about the 2min mark where it seems he hits his stride.

In the 10 shows I've seen from Gary I've yet to see one that wasn't great.  Tremendous energy and always rockin'.  Would be a great double-bill with Joe.
