those sold out fast!
those sold out fast!
They all do. The first few astoundingly so. I would've sworn somebody snapped up so many first ones and warehoused them for later sale, because that first one was (and pretty much the ahem, so-called limited set were also) come and gone like a lightning strike!
I confessed I did not like the t-shirt design, nor the truss rod cover/keychain, now this as a lithograph...or do I???!!! Weird, Sandy struck a chord way back, originally suggesting a poster, and somehow that seems to be where I would like to see the design. I believe I would put it on my wall, and I do not have any lithos, photos, or posters on said wall...

yeah Rocket, luckily I got the litho before it sold out...literally a couple days before! A christmas gift for my brother! You have none of the lithos? They are quite expensive, but they do come with tix and M&G so I can't really complain! My wall is starting to become a JB shrine with the photos, concert tix, and all that good stuff!

Sally, I just emailed Tamara for an explanation of the seats.
I'll report back when I get a reply.
I already have seats, and they're not awful, but if I could be asured they're first couple rows, I'll buy the lithograph and sell my current tickets.
.
Purchase of a Litho does not guarentee a front row seat.....I think it's the luck of the draw what's available...I.M.O.
Not even close on seats. Not only were we not in the first few rows in Cleveland but we weren't even in the front (of two) section at all. I've written Tamara twice now asking why our seats were so far back with no response at all. We were in the third row of the back floor section. We're going to Red Bank next year of which we happen to be members and with presales to members before the general public I can usually get tickets in the first few rows.
In addition I had emailed a week before to ask where my seats would be and received absolutely no response as well. The meet and greet was great (joe signed my Flying V that I have his signature Duncan pickups in) and it was great talking to a Joe but I'm somewhat baffled at the total lack of response to three emails to Tamara now. Any further lithograph purchases by myself will be on how much I like the lithograph and not the seats that come with it.

It sure seems that way in my opinion also. I also feel it should be that way. Now that the feedback information and possible complaints seem to back up a total lack of guaranty regarding seat selection, buyer's remorse should be avoided henceforth for prospective purchases of both lithograph "bundles" or PBS donation gift "bundles" that include "best seats," which perhaps should carry an inference in both cases of the disclaimer being "subject to best available," which of course could still result in some grumblings and disgruntled customers. Further opinion of mine is offering lithographs as lithographs minus meet and greets and seats would not be an option from a market/marketing perspective. As offered they have proved quite alluring, and the continuous trend of quick depletion of available stock seems to shore up my thinking.

I've had mixed results and have no idea what anyone should expect.
I've used 3 sets of litho tickets...I forget where the first ones were, but I think in the first 10 rows.,
The second set were in row 22 far right section at the Chicago Theater, which were pretty mediocre.
The 3rd set were in the front row at the Fox theater in St Louis...best seats in the house.
I have one set left and no idea what to expect.

I was apprehensive of using the term "crap shoot," but maybe that is what it is? I suppose it is buyer be aware more than buyer be wary. IF I personally were looking to "cash" the lithograph added value items of a meet & greet and tickets at a show of my choice (that has not changed I hope), I would hope I exercised not one second of vacillation regarding asking for consideration at first firm thought or desire learning of an upcoming concert at a location, venue, both, date, etc.
