Re: The Bonamassa Documentary Part II

What a treat! Sat down and took that trip back to London. Nicely done with glimpses of some of the frozen toes gang in queue and then in The Bush. . I loved the little vignettes and insights into the heart of the music. Not too long now and we'll be taking the time machine back to one of my life's musical and social highlights. The week was a whirl, but now we will savor what went down in London Town.

Re: The Bonamassa Documentary Part II

Don't Know if this is the right place to post this or not (so moderators please move, or give separate thread) but, can anyone tell me what type of spectacles Joe is wearing (the one's with a slight blue tint) in the tour de force documentary thanks.

Got to go as I smell bacon & a potato Scone burning.

Very enjoyable. It just made me want to sit and talk a while with any of these guys. I didn't know a couple of interesting facts brought up. Very curious about the next section. Super great to hear Carmine smile

I'm learning a few things too I didn't know. Or at least a different perspective hearing Roy talk about Bloodline is pretty cool. I agree Carmine just drips coolness.

Re: The Bonamassa Documentary Part II

I had wondered while watching Part 2 of the interviews...

How many here on the forum would start begging Roy to release Joe's demo tape to him.

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

Totally, Doug!  How exciting that would be.

Always thought something else I would kill to see is the letter Joe wrote to Eric Clapton to convince him to join RAH 2009!

I would like to reiterate my desire for re-edited ANDY live and Rockpalast dvds if the original footage still exists. specifically delete the dancing girls and slow the Rockpalast scene changes a little. smile

Haha the girls :-)
When i first saw that i went.  ....
What you dont see on the main menu is there is sort of a "Making of video" on the andy dvd, but its hidden in one of the vob files
You only see it if you play the files sepparate (call it an "easter egg")
I only know of it because i was trying to get it to play on my tablet.
Also we're mississing 2 tracks from the andy live cd that i had to rip from the dvd that i'd like to see included as well

Hi-jack of thread over

Re: The Bonamassa Documentary Part II

Could anyone tell me what song is playing during the intro of these documentary clips? Beautiful strings arrangement with Joe playing over it? Let me know, thanks!

Nevermind, found it in the credits: "Albion." Mesmerizing tune!
