Ditto FraserGuitarGuy212. Still original date for blu ray despatch on Amazon UK site though. Have to wait and see I suppose but will be a disappointing if RAH comes a month after the others.
I wonder why the Albert Hall one is delayed
Hey FraserGuitarGuy212. Check your e-mails, looks like we're back on track!!!!!
Just checked them , great news !!!
And now Royal Snail-mailing their way to me. Looks like it's gonna be a long weekend in front of the box!!! Hope a box set or single concert CD issue is in the pipeline as well.
Joe's Best Body of Work along with The Vienna Acoustic show.
He's at his best when he's pushed and it's on the line and out there under the spotlight.
His inner buttons are all on 11 and his untapped genius reveals itself.
Like a Gladiator into the Cauldron of the Arena Fight, he steps up to all (KS) Challenges

Got the 4 and slowly finding time to watch. Started with The Borderline. Such a great opportunity for people to see him in the trio format that missed that era. Michael Rhodes is solid but down in the mix. Joe and Anton so full of energy. Too me though after seeing it and makes me no longer long for those days because when you see the Shepherds Bush Empire and that band along with the RAH horn section it shows why he should never play a club again. Right now that is to me as good as it gets. My RAH DVD came in as a DVD and not a Blu Ray because of operator error, mine. I popped it in just to see it compared to the 2009 concert. The low definition made it hard to look past compared to the original show and the other recent DVD's however on Palladia last night it really came to life. The room itself was not as big of a star in this one but the Acoustic band was just awesome. The electric set in contrast only makes me look forward to the upcoming tour even more. Tonight hope to watch Hammersmith and if it is half as good as Shepherds Bush then I will say how the hell do you ever top this Joe? I thought RAH 2009 would never be bested but he figured out a way. Granted it took four shows to do it but so well done complete with the story of the rise to the top told by Joe and Roy. I thought I knew the complete story but many other tidbits revealed.
jim did you order the 4 separately? I ordered the amp box set and am wondering if anyone has gotten theirs yet? All these reviews are making me ancy!! I can't wait to watch!

I ordered the amp boxed set and when it delayed I ordered the 4 individually on the same order. I just neglected to choose Blu Ray on the RAH. So they sent what I ordered not what I intended to order.
ahh boo Well on the bright side you are getting to enjoy the shows either way! I can't wait to watch them all!

Well I received my 4 single DVD's and began watching them last night. Only managed to get Borderline in and the bonus stuff that came with it. Spanish Boots was like the appetizer for the main course, Blues Deluxe. I must say that I agree with Michael that the performance on Blues Deluxe was perhaps the best guitar playing I have ever seen. I literally got chills up my spine. I can't imagine what it must have been like to see this live. So after that I was so spent I really just could not critique the rest. Loved it all. So enjoying the back story by Roy, Joe and Kevin. How lucky for us that they all found each other. Also liked seeing Clay the tour manager. He is to be commended for getting everyone to all the gigs. Tonight we watch Shepherds Bush.

It was definitely one of those moments when we knew we'd witnessed something very special. At the end my buddies at the front all looked at each other and expressed a collective "Wow!". It was totally breathtaking. I remember Michael and I saying something like "that was the best ever". It was easily the best Blues Deluxe I'd seen and took me back a few years to the more raw performances from Joe that drew me to him in the first place.
I'm holding my breath until my box set arrives.

Michael's summation above is really spot on and I must agree with you Phil, it was one of those moments that you had to have been there to believe it. Amazing to say the least.
Roy
Roy and Phil, Thanks for sharing your feelings about being there live. I am so happy for both of you and anyone that got to experience that moment in Joe B history. Was cool seeing you guys on the video as well.
