oh that is very cool, so its basically the show he did at the RAH 2013, vienna band and then electric band. and in terms of keyboard, harmonium, and general pandemonium will Arlan once again join joe? or will derek take arlans place in the acoustic band as well as electric?

I am guessing that since Arlan's name is not mentioned in the newsletter and everyone else's is, that he probably won't be there. Maybe they won't do the songs that required accordion, or maybe Derek will sit in on piano on the ones that require keyboard? We'll see in about a month. Sure would love to see them do "Richmond" when they play in Richmond smile

I will be SORELY disappointed if he doesn't play Richmond in Richmond.
I mean I would get over it but, IMO mumblemumble

I hope so to Jane. I remember how disappointed we where when he didn't play it at the 2007 show

They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery; Joe should be flattered, today I saw a post on Riverbend Music Center's for Dave Matthews Band "a very special evening with Dave Matthews Band will feature the group delivering two sets performing songs throughout its career. Dave Matthews Band will wind through numerous configurations from-electric to acoustic"  Hmmmm?

Edit to add link with full detail if not working please

I saw Del Amitri do an acoustic/electric concert in London back in 1998. It's nothing new.

Guess I should have worded that differently? I realize Joe didn't invent the wheel and others have done this before. Not sure if any other what I would call mainstream modern day tours are currently. I thought it interesting on the heels the of Joe's successful US Fall tour with "2 sets" "acoustic and electric" that they are promoting/branding the tour very much like Joe's.
