Topic: Joe In Bournemouth

Not Long to go now, this will be the third concert at Bournemouth where Joe will play some great Blues for us again. Last time he was here we went to the sound check and what a true gent he was .We couldn't get to the London shows so we have been looking forward to this for quite a while. I hope you enjoy coming to Bournemouth Joe as much as we love you being here.

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

Only two weeks to wait now!

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

Can't wait, managed to get some good seats in the pre-sale

No matter how far you try to push the envelope, it remains stationery

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

Excellent! Looking forward to meeting up with folks pre-show.

At least at this one I should be able to see Joe on stage, unlike at the Albert Hall where we had really terrible seats sad .  Unless I'm unlucky enough to sit behind the really tall guy wearing a really tall hat ...

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

From the BIC web site

Meet & Greet: 16:30
Doors open: 19:30
Joe Bonamassa on Stage: 20:00
Joe Bonamassa off Stage: 22:30
Curfew: 23:00

No matter how far you try to push the envelope, it remains stationery

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

I wouldn't turn up at the Meet & Greet on spec if I were you as there will be a list of attendees and you won't get in unless you're on it.

I was at the last BIC M&G in 2012, and it was probably the shortest M&G ever at less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Joe was gracious as ever in signing stuff but Bob was keeping a tight rein on events and we were out in a flash. If you are on the M&G list of attendees make sure you are there at least 10 minutes before the allotted time.

Thanks for the heads up Phil, although how Dow you get on the meet and greet? I know ents24 were running a competition, but is there any other way between now and then?

Cheers

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

I think it's too late to make a request for the BIC M&G now. Take a look at this sticky on the Street Team Forum:  Meet & Greet Policy for Street Teamers

Although this policy is aimed at Joe's Street Team the last two posts on the thread are about M&Gs for non-ST members.

Good luck for next time.

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

Thinking about what's planned for the US autumn tour got me wondering whether Joe plans to do full-on electric or part acoustic for the upcoming UK gigs.  I know which I'd prefer but will wait patiently for another six days.

Re: Joe In Bournemouth

Would like to know what sort of set Joe will do in Bournemouth?
acoustic and electric , if anyone can answer would like some feedback .

I would be happy with all electric, although I would expect something similar to the South American dates. Either way we won't be disappointed.
