Have not checked them out yet. Still cranky about John Sykes dropping out of he original project.
Going to get off my butt and get on board though.
Couple nice tracks there Curby!Has some potential for sure.
Kotzen is an amazing player, definitely one of those next level up guys. Its difficult to believe when you hear him on the WD material that he doesn't use a pick anymore and he is playing a tele. (and he's got a great voice as well)
There's a few clips on YT of a recent live show in Rio - They are excellent
Great stuff. Would be even better if Sheehan's bass wasn't so loud.
We get it Billy, your an awesome bass player. But like every other band your in the bass is too loud.
Still bought it though and it is good.
Great album! I need to listen to more stuff from these 3 guys. I don't know much from Richie, or Dream Theater & Mr. Big

If you want to listen to the 'post-shrapnel' Kotzen, then Mother Head's Family Reunion is a brilliant place to start.
There's a European tour in September. The only UK date is the O2 Academy Islington on the 5th. There's quite a few shows in Germany though.
I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver the CD so I can hear it all the way through but I'll be at the London show for sure.
I can't wait to get hold of the full album. Loved them from the moment I heard it. Kotzen's playing on here is great, as it is on everything he does. Portnoy does a pretty average job... like, he's good, but he doesn't really do anything special (aside from the trash cans at the end of some songs) but he doesn't do a lot of technical playing on this to be honest. He needs to get over himself, really. And I forget that he was even in Dream Theater. That said, Dream Theater are NOT better off without him after that abysmal record they put out with Mike Mangini two years ago. New one due in September, hope it's better than that!! And Sheehan's on fire as ever. Good to see. Loved it when Sheehan used to be in Vai's band... it's not right without him in it almost!

Sadly, I didn't make the show Marlies. I had to cancel at the last minute and still have a new, unused ticket on my desk I heard it was a really great show too.
I've not done any gigging over the summer and Winery Dogs was due to be my first after the break but it wasn't to be. So my first was Royal Southern Brotherhood who made up for it with a truly excellent show
Interesting 3 piece band.......will have to check them out this month for sure....:) (10-21-2013 Altar Bar Pittsburgh Pa )
