Topic: Gretchen Wilson - Under The Covers

I just found out that Gretchen Wilson is releasing a new album with covers of some of her favorite rock songs. It's not out until June 4, but it's up on spotify right now. Here's the songs she does:

1. Stay With Me
2. Doctor My Eyes
3. Everybody Wants You
4. Bell Bottom Blues
5. Funk #49
6. Hot Blooded
7. Over The Hills & Far Away
8. I Want You To Want Me
9. Lights
10. Her Strut
11. Bad Company
12. Into The Mystic

She definitely has good musical taste, even though most of these songs are played to death on the radio. She does good on Into The Mystic, Lights, Hot Blooded, and Bell Bottom Blues. She also has another album out with her own songs on it.

Such a fine line between mainstream country and rock these days. Just listened to her tune All Jacked Up a couple days ago, quite a rockin' tune. I like Gretchen, she doesn't play by the rules.
