Re: Joe's show on Planet rock

I really enjoyed Planet Rock and the featured programs it had.

Bravo to all of you who kept on top of this and sharing that there is a new radio station :ch

Thanks for posting the link here also-Righteous!  I will spread the word smile

Re: Joe's show on Planet rock

I listened today and it is a nice mix. Some of the Death Metal is not what I like, but other stuff is. A refreshing taste so far of non-mainstream Rock.

Best place to post this I guess.

A few weeks ago there was a poll to list your favourite cover song. I voted Tea For One by Joe and today I received a nice surprise. A note saying I was the winner and enclosed was a Marshall Amplifier digital radio smile

Re: Joe's show on Planet rock

- have to say that I am getting bored with Planet Rock, - way too much Bon Jovi for me, - if I wanted that I could tune to Radio 2!!

Never enough new stuff, just the same songs on rotation.

I got there a long time ago, so I am in agreement with you, Ian.  No, as in none, not any Bon Joki, is too much Bon Joki for me with the mere mention...!  There certainly is a staleness to much of their programming.  Mind you, I love the promotion of Joe they have done, simply marvelous.  Regarding the "British Imports" type music, however, even though some of it has neglibible appeal at certain times (sometimes just certain times of day or night), it is nice to hear something we never did nor never will here over our regular airwaves.  I can't abandon completely!!!
