Topic: North Mississippi Allstars + Ian Siegal

One of my favourite US Blues Rock bands and British blues vocalist Ian Siegal have set up a bunch of gigs together. Here are some tour dates.

The band Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods comprises Ian on vocals, Luther and Cody Dickinson with Alvin Youngblood Hart. Also some duo shows from the NMA brothers in July:

Already got tix for Cluny. Also seeing Dickinson bros at Gateshead Sage in July. Luther Dickinson is one of my fav guitarists - together with Ian Siegal - should make for a great night.  There's some great footage on youtube - look for Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods.

2 July at the Spirit of 66 in Verviers.
And maybe 15 July at the Peer Festival in Belgium. That gig is announced as a show of the North Mississippi Allstars so far. Don't mind if Ian Siegal will be on stage as a special guest lol

Yesterday I had the pleasure to see the North Mississippi Allstars at the Peer Festival in Belgium.
I've seen them about two weeks ago with Ian Siegel as Mississippi Mudbloods where they were on stage for a two hours show. And now I've seen them as North Mississippi Allstars unfortunately only for a one hour show. That was far too short. I really love that rootsy live music.
Hope that there will be a gig not too far away when they will come back in November to tour Europe once again.

Would love to see Mr. Siegal at the Blues Garage to get my copy of the new album Candy Store Kid - but during the week absolutely no chance. It's too far away :-(
