Re: Wilko Johnson making farewell tour.
That's Glasgow sold out now. I wonder if they will move it to the bigger hall.

Well, the ticket touts have done it again! Tickets for these gigs up on e-bay for £145 plus!!! Theiving scumbags! Limited shows / tickets / last shows of his career - ooooo lets make a killing on the back of his misfortune! :-(
Wilco is a really nice guy and his decision on treatment leaves me in awe of the man.
I hope the scumbags are left with the tickets. They have no scruples at all.
John Wilkinson is bowing out bravely and deliberately kept the prices low.

+1
I admire Wilco so much for what you said above.
A couple of typos saying Wilco, it's Wilko
Wilko supporting the "Frantic Four" at Manchester (6/4), Glasgow (9/4) and Wolverhampton (10/4) as well the 3 nights at London Hammersmith.
He's also down to be interviewed for the Laugharne Week-end, but date given is same as Manchester Quo gig, so this may well be via video link as it's scheduled at 6pm - not a lot of time to get from S.Wales to Manchester.
Just amazing that he's still touring this year and releasing a new album with Roger Daltrey in March. I don't know how he's getting on health-wise, but he's obviously still got the energy and drive to keep on working. I have great memories of Wilko - Dr Feelgood was my very first live gig, must have been around 1975. Great start to my concert-going career!
Anyone down in the West Country, Solid Entertainments have a couple more of their day festival packages at Yeovil on May 10th and St.Ives on May 11th.
Both dates headlined by Wilko and also featuring Simon Townsend; Steve Nimmo Trio; Spellkasters; Albany Down; Federal Charm & Mark Pontin Group
Wilko also headling events at Croydon & Lincoln later in May (17th & 18th); complete line-ups tbc, but Spellkasters also appearing
Has undergone surgery which may prolong his life. Fingers crossed.

Regretably, Wilko has had to cancel these festival appearances while he convalesces.
From an interview at the recent Q Awards bash, news is looking good for Wilko, following 11hrs of surgery to remove a 3Kg tumor, reports are that he's been declared clear of cancer.
Here's looking to a "Welcome Back" tour sometime soon....
Still Kicking
