Topic: The Times - Sloe Gin review

This was in The Times over the weekend.  Tut, tut, they only give this 3 stars but we know better.

Joe Bonamassa: Sloe Gin JOHN CLARKE

His last album, You & Me, debuted at No 1 in the US blues charts. This should do the same as it effortlessly mixes power chords and guitar picking on Ball Peen Hammer, while combining thoughtful vocals, strings and slamdunk guitar solos on the title track. Ten Years After fans should enjoy the powerhouse revival of One of These Days, while the largely acoustic Around the Bend adds a touch of silk to this blue-denim blues-rock mix.
