Topic: Best Live Special Guests & Collaboations You've Seen

Hi I wanna know who you have seen playing with eachother live. I'll get things started, with by no means all or in any discernible order, but the best:

Paul Rodgers w/ Gary Moore
Paul Rodgers & Brian May
Susan Tedeschi w/Matt Schofield
Eric Clapton & Jeff Beck
Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood
Eric Clapton w/ Robert Randolph, John Mayer, Doyle Bramhall II & Sheryl Crow
Jeff Beck w/ David Gilmour
B.B. King w/ Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Slash, Ronnie Wood & Mick Hucknall
Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi
Paul McCartney w/ Ronnie Wood
Roger Daltrey w/ Ronnie Wood & Kelly Jones
Ronnie Wood w/ Mick Taylor & Bill Wyman
Paul Simon w/ Jimmy Cliff
Rodrigo Y Gabriela w/ Phil Manzanera
The Rolling Stones w/ Eric Clapton
The Rolling Stones w/ Jeff Beck
The Rolling Stones w/ Mick Taylor
The Rolling Stones w/ Florence Welch

Re: Best Live Special Guests & Collaboations You've Seen

not sure where to draw the line since it's "special guests", Mick Taylor was a member of the Stones and played the entire Exile on Main Street tour. It was a very good concert, the highlight for me as far as a true guest was having Nicky Hopkins on stage, and Jim Horn was great as well.

Daryl Stuermer and Chester Thompson w/ Genesis (although this was normal for that time)
Kirk Whalum w/ Bob James
Govt Mule w/ Jack Pearson and Jimmy Hall
Govt Mule w/ Grace Potter
Robin Trower w/ Procul Harum (does that even count?)
Joe Bonamassa w/ Larry Carlton

As corn through a goose, so are the days of our lives

I see your point, but in the case of Mick Taylor, he left the Stones 10 years before i was even born, and i did state Special Guests & 'Collaborations' (therfore valid). On the occasion at hand Mick Taylor played as a trio of Guitarists, not just him and Keith Richards or Ronnie Wood & Keith Richards as the composite Stones guitar lineup.

Paul Rogers / Slash = NICE!
I assume Tom Petty & Steve Winwood was at the Royal Albert Hall last year? If so, I went to the other night
I have also had the privilige of Seeing Joe Bonamassa with Ian Anderson

Re: Best Live Special Guests & Collaboations You've Seen

Yes it was the Albert Hall but I also saw them at the Hollywood Bowl in 2008. Also saw Joe with Ian A, forgot about that one.

Re: Best Live Special Guests & Collaboations You've Seen

Joe-centric only:

Best C cool cool llaboration (can't have labor without "r" union!):  Tony "Creamo" Liss, Tony Cintron, Tom Dowd, Len Bonamassa, Leslie West, Rick Derringer, Dave Borden, Gregg Allman, Jeannie & Annie Burns.

Best Live Special Guests...this one to remain open.  Big tie.  Guest FOR Joe or Joe guest WITH for me, sooooooo....onward (the backwards are great too-Eric Clapton of course a standout).
