You spent a lot of time and pain in the chair for that tattoo and I suppose a lot of money too, but if I were you I would go get my money back and sue whoever did it for the time, pain and suffering you endured. I know dude did the best he could, at least that's what he'd tell you, but there are better artist out there who can and will do better, and more importantly, take pride in providing you a product with the best possible likeness of the person you want. Just imagine if the tattoo was of a close member of your family and this guy took the privilege of throwing in his own take on the likeness. Joe went through the fat long hair stage but that's not him now and he will never look like a demon with viper teeth.
Sorry my man but I hate when somebody get a messed up permanent scar on their body that is colorful but has to be paid for. I have one of those too and would much rather have a stab wound, gunshot or landmine injury. At least I'd have a story behind it besides, "got drunk and got a tattoo".
