Topic: Heritage Blues Orchestra

I listened to this video this morning, it's 5:30 am, and I'm thinking "whoa!", what is this???  If your pulse rate don't go up along with getiting off the couch then you ain't a Blues lover.  I dedicate this song to my buddies Mike Craggs and Big Jeff.

Heritage Blues Orchestra is a new/old band playing the blues from a new perspective.  Their version of Muddy's "Catfish Blues" is unlike any I've heard and it's damn good.  Apparently the critics have hailed this band and I can see why.  I'll be picking up this disc later today.

wow, thanks for that Curby, - been looking for that sound in my head for years, modern recording techniques on old style, brilliant. Catfish Blues as shuffle...different.

Well, the Glasgow gig was fantastic. This band is the real deal, wonderfully talented musicians. I highly recommend going to see them if you get the chance.
