This was the third time that Joe has played the Florida Theater and what a great, great show. Sold out and the audience was really into it from the start.  This was a 2:15 show that had everybody wanting more and more. Set list was the same as Durham, but with its own nuisances.  Joe, Carmine, Tal and Rick were spot on and the energy between was on a high level. Sound was fantastic, mixed super well and consistent throughout the show.

Great to see Susan and Ken, such classy folks, wished we could have visited with them more.  Meet a some first time fans due to the run on Public TV, that has been great exposure.

Look forward to the next time....

Music is good for the Soul...

Great review David. It was great seeing and catching up with you again as always.

This is the 3rd time we've seen Joe at this theater, and it was the best show we've seen there. I love the acoustic set at the start of the show. The intimacy it creates really seems to pull you in to the show right from the start. Then the full blown rock show that starts afterwards really pops and seems bigger. I love what Joe has done with WUD, and also love the new songs on acoustic.

Joe's sound is better than ever! The previous 2 shows we've seen at this same theater sounded good, but were both a little distant and a little too polite. Now the sound is loud, clear (vocals and instruments) and very in your face when it should be, and quiet when it needs to be. Out of 20 something shows, this (and Orlando the next night) sounded better than I've ever heard Joe and the band.

Rick, Carmine and Tal were all perfect, fun to watch, and such a well oiled machine.

The lights are also bigger and better than the previous shows. There are times when the lights wash over the audience that is really cool.

The setlist is great, and flows really well. Lots of songs I've never seen live and I enjoyed it all.

One more show to go in Hollywood!

We are going to the Melbourne show tonight.  Can't wait.  Taking 4 friends that have never seen him.  This is my 4th time.  The 2nd here at the King Ctr.  What an incredible talent.
Thanks for the post.

Actually David, it was Joe's 4th time, he got it wrong.
Great show! I've seen him 4 times at the Florida Theater once at the Blues Fest and one time long ago at Freebird Live.
Do you know what make the acoustic guitar was, I couldn't recognize the logo?
