We're fine where we are. We got some much needed rain, but the far SE corner of MN got dumped on. A town there broke the all-time state record with 15.1 in. of rain in one 24 hour period.
We had a tornado warning late in the afternoon, but most of the severe weather has moved out. Many are without power and have limbs down in the yard or on the roof!
I live in a town located on the Hwy 44 corridor. And unfortunately, the highway runs along a ridge that a lot of the weather systems travel, especially the storms coming up from Oklahoma.
All is quiet now and I have electricity so I am content! I have some Photoshop work to do and the Cardinals game will be on soon (after the rain delay)!
Later!

It's been pretty bad here in northern Chicagoland. We had a mini tornado (technically a microburst but they're calling it a tornado) on Thursday that uprooted trees and did a lot of damage. We even had to go down into the basement of our building at work cuz the sirens were going off.
The flooding is huge problem. We've had enough flooding in our complex that some streets were impassable. The village has been pumping water out of the ponds to try to at least allow people to get their cars out.
Hopefully we'll have some days with no rain so we can clean up.
