I didn't change it, Joe did. It was his. I like the look a lot though. I asked him about it in a PM here. Maybe he'll tell us?

Out of curiosity, do these new bursts have the 2-ply fretboard? It seems like they were put together around the end of 2011.

IAC, These were produced starting in '08 so no.
The original GT run was in '08, but I think the Bursts began in '10. The figured tops didn't drop until the end of last year and I would assume new ones are still being made.

You know what's funny? Per 2 separate calls to Gibson, my ser # is that of an '08 but it has a Lifton case and those came later...

They're asking $4,899 for a used one at Guitar Center Houston, TX. Maybe cause of the overly flamed top..?
