Topic: We Know He Can Play Guitar But How 'Bout Them Vocals

Gotta make this short and quick on my way out the door.

Received the new disc from Amazon yesterday (I thought for sure it would be at least a couple of days after the release date). I can sum it up in one word...... WOW!!!.......Killer!!!.....Awesome!!!......EPIC!!!!! Oh wait, thats four.

I think the biggest or most noticeable difference, for me at least (besides the addition of more keys) is the singing of Joe. It is absolutely stunning on every track.

I must wonder with the short tour break if there will be a new set list when they hit the road again. Joe?

Yeah, I know Joe can sing his a** off but on this album (actually I noticed a difference on You & Me) it just seems soooooo much more soulful, if that is a word.

My thought is that "The Caveman" is bringing the best out of Joe's already awesome voice.

I disagree with that . I'll agree he's a great producer,  but he and the tea can only do so much.  It has to start out great, and Joe is very, very aware of his vocals...Listen to a live show where HE knows he's off, and even a critical ear can say "wow"...He is not a one trick pony, he is something else!!!!!!!

Joe seeems to be on pitch close to 100% of the time- he rarely misses a note- now THAT is tough to do!
