This is the worst tragic news.  Patty, you've been through so many other severe challenges, I cannot imagine this loss on top of all that.  I desperately wish I was in the position to help you, somehow, some way.

Just know all of us here are enfolding you in our Bright Golden Wings, send our heartfelt love and wishes for protection and some semblence of hope and recovery over time.

This is the most terrible news. Because although we are a 'detached' fmaily on here, we are a 'family' of sorts, all the same.

Patty wrote some personal telling comments for me recently in one of her posts. But despite the challenges and difficulties she mentioned she wrote with optimism and shared that on here. It made me look at my own very difficult 2012 and the impending decisions I have to make and I could see that compared to some I still have it easy.

This will be an devasting shock and crushing blow as a such sudden loss always is. There are no words. None, that could be sufficient at such a time. I can only add my most sincere condolences and add my prayer for your strength and some understanding as to why life has to be sometimes SO hard.

I'm a ways away Patty, but I'll be thinking about you these coming days and I know I'm not alone.

Dearest Patty, I'm so sorry to hear of your sad news and understand how you must be feeling as my father went the same way (aneurism), although it wasn't so immediate. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and I'll give you an extra big hug in London next March. Stay strong.
