Coach you just don't get it and I do not think you ever will which is ok. Please tell me what LIMITED EDITION means.

It means the same thing that "New and Improved," "Premium," "Deluxe," and every other bit of advertising lingo means:  Nothing at all.  Folks who write ad copy are just trying to sell more product.  What I find mildly amusing isn't that they do it, but that some people are shocked, shocked to discover that they don't really mean it.  The only rationale for getting upset about it that makes any sense (if you're not doing the "investment" thing) is what I said earlier:  You want it so that fewer people get to enjoy the product, don't you?  Isn't life too short to give yourself an ulcer over the fundamental dishonesty of ad copy?  I'm sorry that you felt embarrassed, but if I were one of the friends you had given one to, I know I wouldn't care about the "Limited Edition" part (any more than I would care if it said "Premium," or "Deluxe" on the box). What I'd care about was that my cool friend gave me an even cooler gift.  When Jane sold me her extra one, it didn't diminish the coolness of that gesture one bit in my mind to learn that more were being made.  Not one little bit (thanks again by the way, Jane...it looks great sitting on top of my Class 5!)

I've been away for awhile, dealing with some pretty dark stuff.  Hadn't posted in over a month.  Kinda wishing I hadn't started back up again, to be honest...we should be talking about the great music we love, not arguing about something that has already happened and can't be undone, even if it DID matter...

BAH!  Ruckus fuckus!  Here everybody, suck up some of my psychographical soup...TRY to convince your weeble brains that fenceforth ALL merchandise products and even guitars are UNLIMITED EDITIONS. In a huff mad you say you are? C'mon, get real...look, some of you got so much stuff in yer shrines and such that you have either cornered the "market" roll, or...hmm..., showing off some of your "treasured" stuff one day may garner a remark..."Hey, were'd you get that ________?"
To witch you answer "________ (whatever)".  They ask anews, "Wow, I gotta get that!", then you fire off (guiltily or gloatingly) "But they aren't available anymore!!!" There's your limited edification, maxed out, for whatever it is worth

Look at things this way...The only limited edition is YOU, YOURSELF.  And anyone trying to buy you really ought to be considered devilish if not the dang devil himself!

I say, "Back by popular demand, and so be it".

Otherwise, Joe wouldn't ever tour to the same place twice.  And we all know what a drag it would be, if that were true.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.
