Just read this on Huffington Post - AOL, buy a guy called Daniel Warner, part of an essay on X-Factor; should appeal to fellow Brits:-

a video game in lieu of narcotics?? Can't we have both? Throwing snowballs at penguins and mastodons to the music of Paul Simon sounds terrible, but distraction is the key. I have become severely addicted to Tiger Woods Golf for EA Sports, but just started about a month ago, the learning curve is quite painful, might play better on some Lortabs. lol Hoping he gets some relief from it.

I am also an avid Tiger Woods fan on the PS3... been playing them since 1997 (original Playstation days). Always a good escape from the stress of the day. However, not sure it would take the place of narcotics for pain!!!!  I mean you would really have to be in an intense snowball fight for that to work! But what do I know.... ha ha ha ha

it does relieve stress, but better so if I'm playing well. Son and I have the 2010 version, and not too many new courses unlocked yet. I have to get the new one, The Masters I think it is. Mostly playing with my son or by myself, tend to be around even par but doing much better on the 2nd and 3rd shots to the green. Son acts as my caddy, but my putting sucks even with the preview tool. I did have 2 hole in ones this last week, and a double eagle on a monster par 5 at Bay Hill.

Do we have a video game topic? don't remember seeing one.
