Saw Buddy Guy and Johnny Lang on Friday night a great show.  Buddy is quite the show man.  Never seen him live before so another notch on my guitar strap.

Buddy loves his fans.  And he's more than happy to demonstrate it, through his playing--and his demeanor, when you get to say hello.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Glad you got a good show from Buddy. How was JL? Thanks for the vids. We got Buddy on a bad night up there at the last chance but he still gave his all, even though he could barely get up on his feet due to flu.

JL was ok, never been a huge fan of his, I consider him a one hit wonder and only fair player, (Joe is way better)  I did record one or two of his songs and I'll post them later.

I had heard about a Buddy Guy tour that he spent a lot of time sitting down, we didn't get that show we got a rocking one!  He did bring on a young gun by the name of Quinn Sullivan.  I think he was like 13 or 14, pretty good for a kid, they played two songs together and Buddy made it clear Quinn was playing, JL then came out and joined them.
