Re: How about a little Aaron Williams & the Hoodoo to get you going today?
Caught some of the Hoodoo's action this past weekend and thought I'd share just a couple of songs here. The first song is the title track off of Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo's album, "10:49". The time of 10:49 is significant because, it is the time that Aaron's Dad, "Cadillac Joe" Andersen, passed away a couple of years ago from a rare form of cancer. The Boys then flow into another song off the album called, "Devil's Playground".
Yes I know, I need to talk to Aaron about turning down his "Tin Man" a little bit. A wonderful friend and great Wisconsin guitar luthier by the name of Bruce Lee Rose, made "Tin Man" for Aaron using an old turpentine can that Aaron provided, it is a 4-string Cigar Box style guitar. Bruce also made another wood Cigar Box for Aaron which is a 6-string and is strikingly beautiful and has unbelievable sound! A couple of weeks ago, the Guys did a cover of the Doors' "Roadhouse Blues" and my goodness, it was out of this world! I will someday post that up too. Enjoy...
